             Most weather stations are cluttered, complicated, and frustrating to install and maintain. Wiring and programming can be a nightmare, and finding room to mount everything is a challenge. All-in-one weather stations solve these problems, but the tradeoff is flexibility. Adding just one more sensor often requires an extra logger, making the system more complicated and more expensive.

The ATMOS 41 weather station is the first affordable, research-grade all-in-one weather station that fulfills all your weather monitoring needs but doesn't restrain you when you want to make other measurements. All weather data (e.g., humidity, temperature, or atmospheric pressure) are transmitted over a single wire. That means you don't have to use all of the ports on your data logger just for weather measurements. And, if you are using the ATMOS 41 weather station with our ZL6 data loggers, you have the flexibility to add any of our other sensors, like soil moisture.

Soil Moisture makes both types and both are well established among the scientific community. Complying with key ASTM standards and regulatory guidelines, they are routinely used when decisions on outcomes require solid and reliable soil permeability data.

This particularly competitively priced instrument has been developed for use in difficult conditions. Thanks to its various helixes, it offers measurement solutions for virtually any application, whether measuring gas or liquid flows. An intrinsically safe probe is also available for natural gas measurements.

Passing a defined volume of air through a fabric to measure its porosity. The porosimeter measures the time required for 0.25 litres of air to pass through 38.5 cm2 of tissue under a pressure of 10 mbar. The result in seconds can be converted to litres per m2 per minute (l/m2/min).

This porosimeter has been developed and is manufactured in Switzerland by JDC Electronic SA following a very strong demand from paragliding manufacturers, mainly for safety reasons. This instrument has quickly become the reference to measure porosity.

A barometric logger is used to automatically compensate readings stored on the dipperLog data logger for changes in barometric pressure (for non-vented version). The Heron barLog is recommended for long term monitoring or where more than one logger is deployed within a 5km/3mi radius. The barLog has a capacity for 128,000 data points, with the capability to choose reading intervals in the easy to use dipperLog software.

There's never been a thermal properties analyzer that gives accurate measurements under all conditions. Small sensors are fragile and face contact resistance. Large sensors and high-priced, steady-state methods, require long heat times, which drive moisture away from the sensor and alter the reading. Alternative instruments use one standard equation without making any adjustments for real-world conditions—plus they're bulky and expensive. Thermal properties analyzer takes compliance to a whole new level

The ASTM 5334- and IEEE 442-compliant TEMPOS is engineered using ISO 2008 standards. It takes accurate readings of thermal conductivity, thermal resistivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat in many material types across multiple disciplines, from soil and concrete to insulation, food, plastics, lubricating oil, and even human tissue. The new TR-4 needle is designed specifically to be compliant with IEEE specifications.

Each needle produces only a discrete amount of heat, virtually eliminating the moisture movement (or free convection in liquids) that could alter a reading. Short heating times mean you can use the TEMPOS thermal properties analyzer to measure frozen materials and even fluids. No other analyzer on the market can measure frozen or wet materials accurately.

There are several methods to measure how much light is intercepted by a canopy in order to determine if water loss is from evaporation or transpiration. There's the hard way. There's the expensive way. And then there's the smart way: the LP-80.
